What is Smart Home Automation and why do I need it?
Simply put, smart home automation describes a system of networked, controllable devices that work together to make your home more comfortable, customized, efficient, and secure. You control your automated home through a remote control, smart or iOS device or virtual assistant.
The benefits of home automation typically fall into a various categories, including savings, safety, convenience, control, comfort and peace of mind.
Savings: Smart thermostats and lighting control systems save energy, cutting utility costs over time. Motorized window shades also help block some heat load put on your HVAC system.
Safety: Many home automation technologies fall under the umbrella of home security. You may purchase these devices because you want to make your home safer and more secure. Automated lighting thwarts would-be burglars, and motion sensors help you enter doors and walk hallways late at night. Security cameras offer benefits through either remote monitoring of your package deliveries or real-time video of your home’s inhabitants or unwanted visitors.
Convenience: Because home automation technology performs rote tasks automatically, you will experience great convenience. Additionally, automatic triggers can be programmed between devices to automate regular home processes. For instance, your mere arrival back home can trigger your garage door to open, turn on lights leading to the kitchen and your thermostat to go to your preferred comfort temperature.
Control: You might also choose smart home devices to better control functions within your home. With home automation technology, you can know what’s happening inside your home at all times.
Comfort: Your use of smart technology might be to relax and stream your favorite show, video games with the kids or to play music throughout the home. Connected devices can also help create a comfortable atmosphere—they provide intelligent and adaptive lighting, sound, and temperature, which can all help in creating your ideal inviting environment.
Peace of Mind: Finally, you may want to invest in home automation technology for peace of mind. A new mom or dad can check on their little one thanks to smart cameras and other technologies. Or, if you can’t remember whether you closed the garage after you left, you can verify remotely with an app.

COMMERCIAL
Commercial:
A boardroom or conference room has multiple purposes; it isn’t simply a place where people come to meet and discuss projects. The space may be used to make a conference call to a client across the globe, for special presentations, or to brainstorm new ideas. To create a multi-functional space, you need the right commercial audio and video solutions. Automation will not only make preparing the space fast and easy, but it will also open up new opportunities for your professional office. But whatever the room’s purpose, the technology should not overpower the design of the room.

I have known Travis Teague for 9 years as he worked on our house during its construction to install the wiring for the internet and televisions in the technology closet and throughout the house.
Over the years I have had occasions to call Travis to help with questions and resolve problems that occasionally would occur with the equipment.
Travis has the ability to make the complex understandable when explaining the problem found and the possible solutions. I have found him to be extremely knowledgeable, friendly, responsive to my calls and creative with possible solutions. He is also trustworthy and dependable when implementing the solutions recommended. I always feel Travis truly listens to my concerns and comes up with cost effective solutions to resolve any problems.
I would have no reservations in recommending him as the person to go to when you have home technology needs, concerns or problems.
